At the Think Small Institute, we support early childhood educators in gaining the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to ensure children don’t miss a single opportunity to achieve in kindergarten and beyond.
The Think Small Institute offers a wide range of learning opportunities which include online options for both live-virtual training and self-paced eLearning. Our expert faculty and subject matter experts design and deliver high-quality professional development that meet the unique requirements of diverse educators wherever they are.
We do this through 3 strategies:
- Design and create a full menu of high-quality content that translates evidence-based theory into effective practice, using antiracist pedagogy and Diversity Informed Practice.
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality professional development opportunities to equitably meet the diverse needs of the early childhood workforce.
- Advise and support educators in acquiring competency-based professional development to increase their knowledge, skills, and competencies to ensure all children are ready for kindergarten and beyond.
